Charlie - a birthday in Jersey

She is tall and slim, a jazz dancer, singer and missionary. She is known all over this little part of town, people say hello to her on the streets and everywhere. She has so many brothers and sisters, her uncle and cousin felt so solitary in this big family! This is her busy little office.

Elle est grande et svelte! danseuse de jazz et chanteuse aussi. Tout le monde la connais dans ce petit quartier, tout le monde la salue. Elle a tas de frères et soeurs, son oncle et son cousin se sentaient un peu solitaires au milieu de cette grande famille. Là en haut, son bureau.

But it's good we came because November 5 is her birthday. So after she finished all her pastoral work at the church, she finally slipped on a light coat over her black slit dress and tall boots and we went out in search of a good restaurant. Mais on ne regrette pas de venir (une heure et demi en avion de la Virginie, 15 minute de monorail, 20 minute de train et 30 minute de path plus un taxi! et tout ralenti en dimanche!) car aujourd'hui le 5 novembre est son anniversaire! Après avoir terminé son travail pastoral, elle a glissé un imper sur sa robe noire collante et fendue et ses botte noires et on a cherché on bon resto. Chez Gino, Italien et original. Mais il me semble que tout le monde savais que c'est son anniversaire, car avant qu'on se rende compte tout le monde chantait "Happy Birthday" et soudain, un gateau chocolat apparaisse avec des bougies! WOW! Bonne Anniversaire!
