Little Almond

I think sometimes when you squint your eyes, you see better, see farther, see sharper. SOme people always have squinted eyes, like little almonds. They must see pretty well indeed!

Election Day . . . day of reckoning

The voting precinct at the Library of Winchester. Normally election posters are kept 100 metres away from the entrance of the voting precinct, so also any electioneers are also posted at some such distance.

Voting here started on time and ended on time, and by 3 PM more than half the prcinct had voted. This precinct had half a dozen electronic voting machines for the public. Very modern, activtated by finger touch, all names of candidates already on screen for the voter to select and vote and one could rethink and change one's vote until one pressed the validate button. Not possible to vote the same candidate twice.
